Awards for Citizenship

The Dean’s Award for Citizenship is offered annually to undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in Science degrees. These awards recognise the contribution of Science students to the Faculty’s non-academic activities and interests. Please note that the awards cannot be held concurrently.

Established in 2000 by the Dean of Science to encourage and thank those fulltime students currently enrolled in any undergraduate or postgraduate degree course offered by the Faculty of Science who have, in the opinion of a selection committee comprising the Dean and the Pro-Deans of the Faculty of Science, contributed most to the Faculty’s non-academic activities and interests. Up to five awards may be made in a year. Nominations must be made by an academic member of staff using the application form.
