Interfaculty 5K run

Week 11
5km Run, held at Oval No. 1
Wednesday 12 October, 3 – 5pm

WHO HAS THE BEST FACULTY?! WHO CAN BRING THE MOST PARTICIPANTS!?!??
EVERY RUNNER COUNTS!!
The 5km Run is the last event for Interfaculty for the year. So come down and enjoy one last round of Interfaculty sport.
EVERY participant at 5km Run receives a point for their faculty so it comes down to who can bring the most staff or students to this exciting event!

C’mon Science lets get our hands on the coveted Emily Small Shield for 2011!

Runners will register on the day from 3pm for a 3:30pm race start, all runners must be wearing appropriate footwear.

There will be a FREE BBQ for participants and a presentation Ceremony to award the winning faculty for the year at the end of the day.

if ur name doesnt appear on the list dw  u can still rock up to one of the timeslots. Also its a KO comp, if we make it past the first round the next games will be later in the day, so if u can’t make it at these times pop by later to see if science is still playing.

We get points for every person that runs! So report to the grandstand on oval #1 for registration at 3pm! We will also need 2 volunteers to help out with marshalling.

Inter-Faculty Women's Netball

Represent science students in Inter-Faculty women’s netball!

We will be needing female players – 7 a side with unlimited substitutions. Please check out the SciSoc Interfaculty Sports Facebook group for more info.

Inter-Faculty Table Tennis

Represent science students in Inter-Faculty Table Tennis!

We need at least 2 players (max 7) to represent science in Table Tennis!
Entries close this sunday night (15th August).
We will post who is on the team on monday arvo.
All participants must bring their own bats which should comply with IFFT rule – red on one side, black on other,with approved rubber.
All matches are singles, with best of 5 sets.
Sets are up to 11 points with 2 alternate serves.
A round robin will be played for 1st round, with winners progressing to KO rounds.

Please remember to wear a GREEN shirt to the game! and come SUPPORT SCIENCE!!

Inter-Faculty Touch Football

Represent science students in Inter-Faculty Touch Football!

Everyone is welcome to come along and participate. Please remember to wear a GREEN shirt to the game!

The rules state that:

  • Only 7 players on the field at one time
  • 3 of these must be girls
  • Unlimited number of subs during the game
  • The game will have 2 x 12minute halves
