That's right, the glorious SciSoc Cruise returns this year on the 18th of April (Thursday, Week 6), with unlimited food, alcohol and costumed madness! Speaking of costumes, the theme this year is Future Occupations! Think of what you want to be after you finish uni. Think about what you wanted to grow up to be as a wee little one. Be it fireman, dancer, scientist, rock star or ninja-fairy-angel-princess, all dream jobs are welcome! DETAILS Time: 7:00 pm sharp, otherwise you’ll have to swim to meet up with us! SciSoc makes its debut to the University's Interfaculty Sport Program on Wednesday (27th March) with Tennis! For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, the Interfaculty Sports Program consists of weekly sports competitions between teams from each faculty of the university that are mostly friendly and casual. Who represents your awesome (read: superior) faculty? You guys, of course! We needs YOU to invoke your inner avid athlete, omnipotent Olympian or even your resident Sporty Spice and lead the Science Faculty to victory! Come along on Wednesday to Manning Tennis Courts to watch, support or even compete in the name of SCIENCE! Each round consists of a Men's Singles, Women's Singles and Mixed Doubles. Our first round is at 9am, against Engineering. Semi-finals are at 11am and finals are at 12:30pm!

To all First Year Campers this year, SciSoc Exec thanks you for being extremely lovely and harmonious people! We hope that you had an absolute blast out there just as we did, and we also hope you left with a whole new bunch of friends (both vertebrate and invertebrate, for those who helped some exec members find insects for zoology!) and stories for the years of uni to come.
