Welfare Information

University and student life can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate at times.

Your first year at Uni can be like jumping off into the deep end, but SciSoc is here to provide floaties so you won’t sink! SciSoc puts student welfare at the top of its priority list. As a society, we aim to respond to the concerns, aspirations and problems of science students in relation to non-academic areas through providing support and guidance.

SciSoc also provides information about assistance to students in difficult circumstances who have experienced discrimination. Our Welfare Officer will work with the SRC and their welfare department to provide help. If you have any questions relating to student welfare issues or student life and the non-academic side of university, our Welfare Officer is happy to help with any queries in whatever way possible.

For more information contact the Welfare Officer for 2017, Phoebe Fuller, by email at welfare.usydscisoc@gmail.com.
